So yesterday I *FINALLY* finished the drainage trench in the backyard, with only a few weeks break for smoko. We also had the guys who will be painting our roof working their magic. They “de-fungus” or something, then they’ll probably paint on Monday they said.
And today, I woke up and felt like going for a ride. I asked mum where I should ride to, and she said “Why not try Berny and Karen’s?”, which I had been considering, but questioned my ability to either get there, or get BACK! But anyway, I scarfed some breakfast, and filled up my camelbak, and off I went.
I don’t know how long it took, but when I called mum to let her know I was there safely, she thought it didn’t take very long. I hung around there for a little while, and saw Berny’s mods to his car, and then thought I’d better go home, because I didn’t know how long it would take :noes:
When you ride, you have to go home via a different route than you went to the place by, otherwise, it’s boring. So, I came home via Albany Creek road, and down Maundrell Terrace. According to Whereis, the Albany Creek road way is 13.08km. Pretty decent effort for a fat bugger, if I do say so myself :teehee:
I took more notice of how long it took to get home, which was about 45minutes. Karen was surprised that I was home already when I called to organise for Berny to pick up our water-pressure-sprayer-thingy.
Anyone keen for a ride somewhere?
