Money came into today, in the form of three small sales. Hurrah! I’ll have work for a while longer.

So, speaking of work, the brickie rang me yesterday to say that he needs more money, and that it’s VITAL when M&D are back next week that they ring him so he can come over and talk about what more they want done. Something about a render, and how he doesn’t want to mix it and have them unhappy with it.

I was late home last night (sorry dogs) because I was working on M&D’s computer upgrade, which has gone crazy. The SATA drive I had planned to put into my machine, and give my drive to M&D. Great theory, except I was swapping a 200Gb drive for a 150Gb one. And my 200Gb drive was full. Full of crap, don’t get me wrong, but there was at least 50Gb of crap I had to prune. And then I planned to ghost the old drive to the new one. Except that didn’t work. So I had to reinstall from scratch and backup the old one. Gawd. Then I had to do pretty much the same thing at M&D’s. So it was a busy night.

20/20 Cricket. I think it’s good, but as Blacky pointed out, I wonder how much money it costs to watch. It’d be a good watch, but you wouldn’t pay as much as you would for a ODI. Apparently they’re supposed to be closer games, but both 20/20s we’ve had in Australia thus far were not - whitewashes is a term that springs to mind. Entertaining whitewashes, but whitewashes nonetheless.

What’s up for the weekend? Not much so far. Saturday is going to be a day of washing, and probably mucking about with websites and/or computers. I’ve toyed with the idea of bringing Grandpa up for the Sunday night, and driving him back Monday evening so that he can see M&D for the short while they’re back.
