I can assure you that there was a perfectly good reason for me to not make an entry here yesterday. I was sick, so there.
What did I accomplish on my sick day? Quite a bit, all told. I watched a couple of episodes of The Family Guy, saw Finding Nemo on DVD (which was completely awesome BTW) and generally lay around, resting up and getting well again.
This morning I got a new tyre put on my spare, and had the most worn tyre moved to “spare”. I had hoped that this would reduce the road noise I’ve been suffering a bit of lately, but no dice. Apparently there’s a lot of feathering on the tyres, despite getting balances/alignments/rotations done semi-regularly. It also took AGES, for one friggin’ tyre. An hour, in which time another lady there got all four tyres done. Cwazy.
So I’m back at work today, feeling quite a bit better, and wearing my new jumper, which I bought on the weekend. I look quite dapper. M&D are coming around for dinner tonight, their first time to my place for ages. I’m going to cook my version of butter chicken and christen my new pot, which looks a little wierd after interacting with the dishwasher, but I’m sure it’s fine.
