Woot! Short Week :)
Hello, hello … isn’t it great to get a short week immediately following a long weekend? I think so.
Look, I know that my entries to this blog have been a little on the light side of late, and I’m truly sorry about that. This is going to be another short one, however. :happysad:
I have very few plans this weekend. I’m going to John’s tonight for Sopranos and dinner which should be great. Tina’s also going to be there (despite having to close her eyes for the violent bits) and Chris as well (who has to have roughly 4 series of episodes explained to him because he’s not watched any of them previously), so it’ll be quite an event. Note to self: make sure you ask if anything needs to be brought along.
I had a doctor’s appointment in Stafford this morning, which means I visited home on the way to work. Convinced mum to let me appropriate (steal) some of their food for breakfast, and more for lunch at work. Score.
On the weekend, I think I will cook and store another curry. I might be persuaded to buy a new pot to cook it in. I really like my current pot, except that it doesn’t have a lid that fits properly and it’s not as big as I would like. I used to have a big, hefty pot, but it was crappy quality and thin metal. :ugh: Stuff would burn to the bottom of it without even trying.
