Weekend was great. Friday night I got a bit wasted, and don’t remember much.

Saturday I went shopping in preparation for the 24-fest. What a great night … I’d made curry, and rice with sultanas and cashews and Leyton brought pie to go with icecream, and Brek brought Coke, and Bryce brought munchies. I had the projector from work, and it all went flawlessly.

Oh, except for when I made Leyton and Blacky skip an episode on their catch-up plan. I thought that we were up to 17 (as in, hadn’t seen 17) and they were two behind, so I started at 15. Turned out, 15 was the last one we saw, which meant that the other guys were up to 14, but missed 14 because we watched 15. Got it?

Anyway, it was good fun. I can’t wait for next time, so I figured that I’d announce it now: Season 3 finale of 24 will be on Friday 4th June at my place, 7pm. Can anybody make that?

In other news, I want to organize a poker night soon. And this weekend is the Doomben race day thing that Blacky (and Glenn probably) want a group to go to. I’m certainly down, question is whether people want races AND poker. Probably not. And then the question is whether people want 24 AND poker. Probably not. And the the question is whether people want races, then 24 next weekend and then poker the weekend after. Probably not. The poker might have to wait for a while unless people indicate otherwise.

I love weekends where you’re superbusy, and you get to catch up with people, etc, but this morning when I woke up, I thought I was dead, such was my extreme tiredness. Quick subway for brunch and I was ready for action, though.
