5 day weeks
Tuesday, April 6th, 2004Good news everybody … I’m back on 5 days per week, and the pressure is relieved somewhat. I’m still available as your local odd-job man while I pay off my trip to Thailand, though, so keep me in mind.

Friends,
I’ve hit a snag. As many of you know, I’ve been cut back to 4-days per week. Initially I was completely stoked about this as it’s the perfect opportunity to kick up my web hosting business. But, it now seems that isn’t possible.
I’m in need of work for at least that Monday, and ideally for one of the days of the weekend too. If people could keep me in mind for any work that comes up, I’d appreciate it. My skills are mostly computer-related, but I’m also big and strong, so heavy lifting isn’t out of the question. Pride is a thing of the past, and I’ll do almost anything that people need doing.
Please keep me in mind for any mind-numbing, soul-destroying tasks that you’d rather have someone else do. Thanks.
For those keeping score, here’s my schedule for the next month:

I’m back, I’m sure most people are aware now. And glad to be back … don’t get me wrong, I had a fabulous time, but it’s good to be back.
I didn’t do much for the last couple of days in SLC … I was too busy saving money for the Thailand trip next week. Yet we still wined and dined with reckless abandon.
Business class back from LA was pretty special, but it still sucked. Even with better food and a bigger seat, you still notice that it’s a really long time to spend on an aircraft. And it’s still noisy. I got to sit upstairs though, which is pretty cool. And the economy class passengers have to wait for you to get off the plane before they can disembark, so you’re therefore first through customs, and your luggage comes out first at the other end, so you’re first through quarantine, and first back in Australia proper.
Landed early Friday, dad picked me up and we went home for a morning tea with Mum for her birthday. Then into work for lunch with E and a debriefing (hehe, that word makes me laugh) and then finally home to the Gabba. Leyton came over to watch football with me and Black, but I fell asleep before it started.
What else? Oh Saturday I did some shopping, and then off to Rob and Nad’s for Nadia’s birthday lunch. It’s not her birthday yet, Thursday I understand. Then I was supposed to go straight home so I wasn’t driving while tired, but I went via M&D’s where I almost stayed for dinner, but instead left after about an hour.
Today I’m not sure what’s going on … people are welcome to swing by for some pasta that I’m making a serious attempt at.
Not sure how many, but if I’m going to have an opportunity to catch up with Lara (saw Glenn yesterday), Brek and maybe John L, today could be the last chance before I’m off again.
