Claim Jumper

These pics are mainly for Glenn’s benifit, as they’re taken at Claim Jumpers, mentioned in Dan Savage’s book that he recently finished. I couldn’t fit in any cake, so I took a slice to go.

Having loads of fun, Dad arrived today, and we’ve been all over the place in our rented Volvo SUV. It’s been fun. :bigthumb:

    Cool. I was wondering if you’d make a pilgrimage to Claim Jumpers. I’d find it hard to resist after reading that book.

    A couple of questions.

    1. Is that cake the real deal? Or is it a fake one? I’m guessing it’s fake.
    2. How American is that waitress? I can’t think of any other country where a waitress would smile like that for a photo….maybe it’s got something to do with her reliance on tips to make a basic wage.
