Wow, it’s been a while since I wrote. Only one business day, sure, but Monday’s usually the day that I extoll the virtues (or lack of virtues) of my weekend.

Friday night was the 24 we’d been waiting for. 5 episodes. Bek made an interesting point about how between each sess of 24, you come to not being excited about the next one. But once you start, hoo baby, there’s no stopping you. That’s how we motored through 5 episodes. Poor Blacky couldn’t hold out and had to go to sleep before the 4th one. Ate pizza and played Carcassonne with Bryce and Blacky.

Saturday there was more Carcassonne, and then I gave Bryce a lift home. Killed time at M&Ds for a while, until John rang inviting me round for Sopranos. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity … it had been a long drought between Soprano episodes as well. I picked up Baskin Robbin’s Chocolate Blast thickshakes for each of us, so the night was also a little decadent.

Sunday I did nothing. Well, I did a tiny amount of shopping, and a small amount of washing, and watched a lot of cricket, but very little else.

This is my last week in Australia for a while, before heading OS. Today I got a carton of Vasse Felix wines from Godfrey for my birthday! Thanks dude. :bowdown:
I’m pleased to report that by tomorrow I’ll have finished my pre-trip tasks, more or less, and that will be it. It’d be nice to see Rob & Nadia and Glenn & Lara before I go … are either of you guys available Wednesday or Friday night, my place or yours? :naughty:
